Baseball Recap: Weiser Wolverines vs. Homedale Trojans
Weiser fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Homedale on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 9-7. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.
Jace Waggoner put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
