Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Faith Academy's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Faith Academy posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Alexandria Valley Cubs. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Valley Cubs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2016.

Mikadyn Cauley paced Faith Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Cauley got some help from Madison Cline and her 25 assists. Kyleigh Grosz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Faith Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Alexandria, they moved to 33-6 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Faith Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Arab on the 27th. As for Alexandria, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cherokee County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
