Basketball Recap: Gallatin Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Gallatin Green Wave came up short against the LEAD Academy Panthers and fell 51-43.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for LEAD Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-11.

Looking ahead, Gallatin will challenge Cane Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cane Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Gallatin likes a good challenge. As for LEAD Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-65 victory against Pearl-Cohn on the 25th.
