Basketball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 68-50 fall against the Iberia Rangers. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 18 points.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Iberia, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Northwest will finish 2024 at home by hosting Otterville at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Iberia, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Linn at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. Iberia is facing Linn at the right time seeing as Linn is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
