Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenforest). They claimed a resounding 82-13 victory over the JAG Jaguars. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 83rd in Georgia, while the Jaguars are ranked 323rd in Alabama), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenforest pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.0 points per game. As for JAG, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Greenforest will be taking part in a tournament against Thornton Fractional North at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th. As for JAG, they are taking a road trip to square off against Park Crossing at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Park Crossing will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something JAG surely won't give up without a fight.
