Volleyball Recap: Riverton Takes a Loss

Riverton lost against Evanston back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Devils. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alexis Taylor paced Riverton's offense, picking up eight kills. Taylor got some help from Halli Weber and her 11 assists. Taylor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Evanston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Riverton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against East on the 26th. As for Evanston, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Douglas on the 26th.
