Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Woodland's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Bloomfield Wildcats on Monday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bloomfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Woodland will challenge Saxony Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Bloomfield, they will take on Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
