Loris let Georgetown stack four runs on them in the third inning on Friday but luckily Loris prevailed anyway. The Lions skirted past the Bulldogs 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Loris' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Loris is set to face off against their familiar foe Waccamaw at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Georgetown will square off against rival Marlboro County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
