Volleyball Recap: Schurr Comes Up Short

Schurr lost against Mark Keppel back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Aztecs, falling 3-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Schurr's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mark Keppel, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Schurr is set to face off against their familiar foe Alhambra at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mark Keppel will square off against rival San Gabriel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
