Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chippewa Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the L'Anse Creuse Lancers 42-14. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Chippewa Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for L'Anse Creuse, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chippewa Valley will face off against Southfield Arts & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for L'Anse Creuse, they will square off against Port Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
