Softball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Warren was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 16-2 to the Taft Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

OJ Guerra made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Warren dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Taft, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Coincidentally, Warren and Taft will both be playing Sotomayor the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the WILDCATS at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
