Basketball Recap: South Amboy Starts Season with Win at Home

South Amboy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They secured a 30-24 W over the Keyport Raiders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Governors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Amboy and Henry Hudson will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on December 27th. As for Keyport, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Asbury Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
