After losing to CHAAMP HomeSchool the last time they met, Avery decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Avery Bulldogs managed a 49-44 victory over the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reece Wigley, who posted ten points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Hefner, who earned nine points.

Avery's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.

Avery will welcome Saltillo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Campbell at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. CHAAMP HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
