Volleyball Recap: Metro Takes a Loss

Metro and Lutheran South squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Metro had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Eliot Yaeger was nothing short of spectacular for Lutheran South: she had 36 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Yaeger has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Emily Oak, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Metro's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Lutheran South, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-20-3 record this season.

Metro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lutheran South, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Saxony Lutheran on the 1st.
