Norcross won the last time they faced West Forsyth and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 2-1.

Sofia Guerrero-Wilson paced Norcross' offense, picking up 14 kills. Guerrero-Wilson got some help from Ellie Ruth Blue and her 23 assists. Finally, Zoe Felder kept Norcross' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

West Forsyth lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Charlie Holcomb, who had nine digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Adeline Wieler, who had eight digs and two aces.

Norcross now has a winning record of 4-3. As for West Forsyth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Norcross will be playing at home against Forsyth Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Forsyth, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Etowah on the 14th.
