Basketball Recap: Patton Springs Comes Up Short

Patton Springs lost against Spur back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patton Springs Rangers took a blow against the Spur Bulldogs, falling 70-42. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1223rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 559th).

Patton Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Spur, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-12 record this season.

Patton Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spur, they will host O'Donnell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
