Soccer Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County was the 3-0 winner over West Perry when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0 on Monday.

Mifflin County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for West Perry, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2-1.

Coming up, Mifflin County will face off against Waynesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Perry, they will venture away from home to square off against Shippensburg at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shippensburg's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so West Perry's offense will have their work cut out for them.
