Basketball Game Preview: Ecorse Raiders vs. Academy for Business & Tech Gators

Ecorse and Academy for Business & Tech are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Ecorse Raiders will challenge the Academy for Business & Tech Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Ecorse had to suffer through a 97-62 loss at the hands of Arts & Tech.

Meanwhile, Academy for Business & Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Novi Christian Academy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 50-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Ecorse has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Academy for Business & Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Ecorse against Academy for Business & Tech in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, as the team secured a 68-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ecorse since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
