Football Game Preview: Benjamin Buccaneers vs. Victory Christian Academy Storm

The Benjamin Buccaneers will head out to square off against the Victory Christian Academy Storm at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Benjamin has given up an average of 35.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Benjamin is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They took a 35-21 bruising from Jensen Beach.

Although Benjamin took the loss, they still got scores from Kaden Faniel, Terrion Ivy-Akins, and Jayden Cosby-Mosley.

Benjamin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Daniel Suarez, Bentley Wade, and Mason Bennett picked up one apiece. Bennett also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten. Benjamin received some extra help from Cosby-Mosley, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Victory Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Meade. Surprisingly, this marked the Storm's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Having lost for the first time this season, Victory Christian Academy fell to 3-1. As for Benjamin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
