Volleyball Recap: Isabella Dinya and Hayden Wells Secure Win for Holy Name

Holy Name won the last time they faced Aurora and things went their way on Saturday too. The Green Wave came out on top against the Greenmen by a score of 2-0.

Holy Name not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Aurora between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Holy Name was led to victory by Hayden Wells and Isabella Dinya. Wells had 15 digs and three assists, while Dinya had 13 digs. Those 13 digs gave Dinya a new career-high.

Holy Name's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Aurora, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Coming up, Holy Name will host Padua Franciscan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Green Wave surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aurora, they will venture away from home to challenge Barberton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
