Baseball Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss

Central Davidson was the 2-1 winner over Randleman when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Central Davidson's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 11-7. As for Randleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-4 record this season.

Central Davidson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-0 victory against T.W. Andrews on the 21st. As for Randleman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Asheboro on the 20th.
