Baseball Recap: High Point Central Comes Up Short

High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Southern Guilford Storm, falling 14-1. The Bison were not able to make up for their defeat to the Storm from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Southern Guilford, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Point Central will welcome Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southern Guilford, they will host Cornerstone Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Southern Guilford's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Cornerstone Charter has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
