Leading Edge Academy - GEC found their leader in freshman Corynn Foster, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 19 points and seven steals. Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Willcox against Santa Rita on Thursday as the squad secured a 53-19 win. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC better focus on containing Addison Burright and Maddie Bennett as the pair were huge in Willcox's win. Burright dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Bennett almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Paislee Adams, who posted ten points.

Willcox smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 14 consecutive contests.

Willcox's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
