Volleyball Recap: Corbin Comes Up Short

If Corbin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pulaski County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhounds fell just short of the Adair County Indians by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Corbin's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Adair County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Corbin and Adair County will both be playing Blazer the next time they take the court. The Redhounds will head out to face the Tomcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
