Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Santa Fe Christian duked it out with Scripps Ranch on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Santa Fe Christian's offense was headlined by Taryn Brown and Kylie Davis, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Blair Gardiner and her eight assists.

Santa Fe Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Scripps Ranch, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Santa Fe Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Otay Ranch on the 20th. As for Scripps Ranch, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rancho Buena Vista on the 20th.
