Basketball Recap: Republic Tigers vs. Northport Mustangs

Republic lost against Northport two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Republic Tigers lost 74-53 to the Northport Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Mustangs are ranked 134th).

Despite the defeat, Republic saw an underclassman step up: freshman Iman Abdallah went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points.
