Basketball Game Preview: East Lyme Vikings vs. St. Bernard Saints

The East Lyme Vikings will challenge the St. Bernard Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, East Lyme came up short against New Britain and fell 51-41.

Meanwhile, St. Bernard's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. Their2024 ended with a 69-51 defeat against Northwest Catholic. The loss was the Saints' first of the season.

East Lyme's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Bernard, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

East Lyme was taken down by St. Bernard 76-43 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point East Lyme was down 37-17.
