Softball Recap: Tipton Blue Devils vs. Rossville Hornets

Tipton had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-15 to make it four. They came up short against the Rossville Hornets, falling 15-9. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 13-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Makayla Schinlaub made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lacey Bitner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
