Basketball Recap: St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Has No Trouble Against Trinity Episcopal

St. Stephen's & St. Agnes had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Trinity Episcopal Titans on Tuesday as the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints made off with a 70-50 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Saints pulled away in the second half with 46 points.

St. Stephen's & St. Agnes had a senior duo take command as Riley Jacobs dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards and Colin Pollock dropped a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Pollock a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mark Stafford, who posted seven points and five boards.

St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Trinity Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.
