Basketball Recap: Falmouth Comes Up Short

Falmouth was the 67-65 winner over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Falmouth Clippers took a 79-62 bruising from the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), the Clippers still had to take the loss.

Falmouth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-3 record this season. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Falmouth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-45 loss against Plymouth North on the 3rd. Dennis-Yarmouth Regional has also already played their next match, a 62-54 defeat against Barnstable on the 4th.
