Basketball Recap: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. West Forsyth Titans
Walkertown won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They lost 74-48 to the West Forsyth Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolfpack have suffered since December 20, 2023.
Kenan Grady and Camereon Cartlidge certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Grady posted 12 points, while Cartlidge dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. Cartlidge is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden McCandies, who put up eight points.
Jordan Tate continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Forsyth, going 10 for 17 on his way to 26 points along with seven boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Tate a new career-high in points. Jacari Brim was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 14 points and six assists.
