            Volleyball Recap: Glenn Falcons vs. Mishawaka Cavemen        
        
		
        
        
            Glenn lost against Mishawaka back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Falcons fell just short of the Cavemen by a score of  3-2. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavemen  25-21 in the first  set.
 While Glenn ultimately came up short, they really made  Mishawaka work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-10, 17-25,  15-9.
 Kennedy Miller paced Glenn's offense, picking up 13 kills. Miller got some help from  Addison Manering and her 22 assists.  Kercklyn Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
 Mishawaka was led to victory by  Andie Shieldsa1 and  Kallahan Steinman.  Shieldsa1  had 12  digs and two  aces, while  Steinman  had seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Steinman has posted  over her last seven  contests.  Ameila Amos also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
The  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 10-2. As for Mishawaka, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will take on Wheeler at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Mishawaka, they will challenge Warsaw at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
