Basketball Recap: Lake Belton Broncos vs. Red Oak Hawks
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Belton can now relate to. They came up short against the Red Oak Hawks on Tuesday, falling 66-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Broncos have suffered since January 7th.
Red Oak was led to victory by Kierstyn Totten and Journee Hodges. Totten went 10-for-17 on her way to 22 points and eight rebounds, while Hodges went 7-for-14 en route to 19 points along with six boards and six steals. Thanks to that strong game, Hodges now owns an excellent 57.1% three-point shooting accuracy. Kenedi Griffin was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.
