Basketball Recap: Robinson Rockets vs. Salado Eagles
The Robinson Rockets can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Salado by a score of 60-49. The win was just what Robinson needed coming off of a 71-39 defeat in their prior game.
Trevor Stephens was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Landen Turnbo, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Salado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing China Spring the next time they take the court. Robinson will head out to face the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
