Volleyball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Windham managed to slip by Bacon Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Whippets came up short against the Bobcats on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Whippets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Windham was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bacon Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

Joycedalee Perez paced Windham's offense, picking up five kills. Perez got some help from Asialyse Badillo and her 12 assists. Badillo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Windham and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Bacon Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bolton at 5:30 p.m. on October 14. As for Bacon Academy, they will take on Griswold at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
