Lakeland's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7. As for Bonners Ferry, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
Everything came up roses for Lakeland against Bonners Ferry in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 66-37 victory. With Lakeland ahead 42-21 at the half, the game was all but over already.
