Baseball Recap: Cypress Park Extends Winning Streak to Three

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Cypress Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Cypress Woods Wildcats. Four seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Cypress Park's third in a row) raised their record to 8-16. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cypress Woods, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8-4.

Cypress Park will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
