Wilmington Christian Academy extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-0. They really took it to the Liberty Christian Academy Heat for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-25 win. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilmington Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauren Steinhauer, who almost dropped a triple-double with 11 points, nine boards, and 11 steals. Steinhauer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed six or more in each of the last three games she's played. Taylor Pierce was another key player, putting up 15 points and six steals.

As for Liberty Christian Academy, their record is now 0-2. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Wilmington Christian Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

Liberty Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hollyn Thigpen, who posted 12 points.

Wilmington Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-12 victory against Wake Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rocky Mount Academy at 6:15 p.m. on December 2.
