Austin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the West Blocton Tigers 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Black Bears, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Arden Breedlove was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Lamb, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
