Softball Recap: West Harrison Hurricanes vs. Picayune Maroon Tide
West Harrison proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Picayune Maroon Tide. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Maroon Tide recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
West Harrison got a great performance from AJ Miller as she pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Miller has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
