Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Creek Wolves vs. Greenbrier Bobcats

The Liberty Creek Wolves will head out to face off against the Greenbrier Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Liberty Creek against Trousdale County as the squad secured a 59-27 win. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greenbrier duked it out with Portland on Friday. Greenbrier skirted past Portland 64-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted against the Panthers since February 8, 2022.

Liberty Creek pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Greenbrier, their victory bumped their record up to 4-16.

Liberty Creek took their win against Greenbrier in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 69-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
