Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers vs. Armstrong Trojans

The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers will head out on the road to challenge the Armstrong Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Mt. Pulaski is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Illini Bluffs just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 51-20 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. The contest marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Armstrong hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Oakwood by a score of 52-42 on Friday.

Mt. Pulaski's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Armstrong, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
