Basketball Game Preview: West Branch Warriors vs. Juniata Valley Hornets

The West Branch Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Juniata Valley Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Branch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

West Branch is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Philipsburg-Osceola: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went West Branch's way against Philipsburg-Osceola on Wednesday as West Branch made off with an 80-56 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Juniata Valley came up short against Berlin Brothersvalley on Monday and fell 63-53.

West Branch pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.2 points. As for Juniata Valley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

West Branch lost to Juniata Valley on the road by a decisive 78-62 margin in their previous meeting back in January.
