Volleyball Recap: William Campbell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

William Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Appomattox County Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-12.

William Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Appomattox County, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. William Campbell will challenge rival Nelson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Appomattox County is set to face off against their familiar foe Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
