Basketball Recap: Sayre Takes a Loss

Sayre lost against Snyder back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sayre Eagles received a blow as they fell 54-36 to the Snyder Cyclones. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sayre's record now sits at 4-14. As for Snyder, they moved to 5-13 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sayre has already played their next game (against Hollis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Snyder will square off against Cordell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Snyder is facing Cordell at the right time seeing as Cordell is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
