Volleyball Recap: Manassas Park Takes a Loss

Manassas Park lost against James Wood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Colonels.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-1, 25-4.

James Wood was led to victory by Claire Keefer and Macie Hewitt. Keefer had 11 aces, while Hewitt had ten aces. Those 11 aces gave Keefer a new career-high.

Manassas Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for James Wood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manassas Park will square off against Lewis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for James Wood, they will face off against Handley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
