Soccer Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss

Spotsylvania and Caroline pushed the score to 17-1 the last time they played Caroline, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Knights fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 1-0. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Spotsylvania now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Caroline, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Spotsylvania will head out on the road to square off against King George at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caroline, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against J.R. Tucker on the 14th.
