Basketball Recap: Jonesboro Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jonesboro can now relate to. They fell 41-30 to the Zephyr Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Zephyr, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zephyr, they will face off against Brookeland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brookeland will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Zephyr surely won't give up without a fight.
