Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. Bishop Hendricken Hawks

The Lincoln Lions will face off against the Bishop Hendricken Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lincoln is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against North Providence by a score of 59-50.

Meanwhile, Bishop Hendricken faced Shea in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Bishop Hendricken simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Shea 68-39. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Bishop Hendricken's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Lincoln came up short against Bishop Hendricken in their previous meeting back in February, falling 63-56. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
