Softball Recap: Lake Country Christian Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Lake Country Christian came up short against Legacy Christian Academy, falling 13-2. Lake Country Christian was not able to make up for their defeat to Legacy Christian Academy from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Lake Country Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Country Christian will square off against Nazarene Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will challenge All S at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Saints have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
